To my future daughter
We are not sure what your name will be (Mia, or Anna, or possible something else all together!), what you will look like, or if you will be a good eater, a fussy baby, or if you sleep through the night anytime soon. But we do know that we will love you no matter what, and that we are so excited to add you to our family! I cannot wait for the day when you fall asleep in my arms, and I get to spend hours cuddling with you. Your daddy is a little more nervous for when you are a tiny baby, we both have a lot of learning to do:) He says hello to you every morning and gives us kisses. You two are going to be great buds:)
I first felt you move around 18 weeks, but I wasn't quite sure that was you in there. It wasn't until I saw you move during the ultrasound that I knew it was you. Me and your dad were soo excited to see our little girl and to see that you were healthy! In fact, I started crying a few tears of joy and your dad couldn't stop smiling. On the way home, we stopped at a baby store to look at all the cute pink stuff, and then he showed me a song he wanted to learn on the guitar, just for you.
In the second trimester, you seemed to be on quite a strict schedule, waking up at 7:30, and moving around 11, 3, and 8. I think it corresponded to when you were hungry, or right after I had eaten so you had lots of energy:) I guess it helped that your mommy was on quite a strict schedule, working every day from 9- 5:30.
Now, in the third trimester, you move around a lot more frequently, but especially if I eat some sugar:) For awhile, you liked to wake up with me at three in the morning and have a party. I almost woke up your daddy so he could join in, but decided to let him sleep:) You have always been very nice to your mommy, and have never woken me up with any kicks.
